Under new management. New menu. Fantastic food options including pizza. Had a great brisket hamburger with onion jam and just aboit oerfect fries.Butter tarts with raisins (yummy) and other nut free options.Thanks for the great food and service. We'll be back!

Stumbled upon this place on our way to Kawartha from Toronto and so so moved by the hospitality of the diner. Janice is an absolute sweetheart and went out of her way to make our quick stop lunch so pleasant. Order was on time and food was great!

Really nice home cooked breakfast. Service was quick, and they were flexible with the menu (allowed some substitutes). Highly recommend.

Absoloutley amazing homemade burgers! Homemade brioche bun was amazing and their hand ground beef was delicious! Also fantastic perfectly cooked​ fries! Mmmmm. Literally the best hamburger I have ever had hands down.

Janice, Max and their lovely staff went above and beyond to serve 32 members of our Victoria British Car Club on Sunday, Sept. 15th.The service and meal was amazing. Great spot for an great meal experience.

This is my funny experience. My wife and I were passing through, we stopped here at 1130am to order food to go. But for some reason, the service was extremely slow. The other customers there looked pretty upset - they must have waited for a long time too. After about 45 minutes, we finally got our food. The nice waitress/cashier girl gave us a $5 discount to make up for the long wait. I punched in a tip amount for her, made the payment and we left. About 10 minutes later, my wife realized that I had only given $0.01! I had unknowingly made a mistake with the machine! I felt bad, so I wanted to turn around, go back to the diner and pay the tip because the waitress was such a nice person. But!!! Next thing we noticed was our salad was missing. So erm. We're even I guess? Sorry young lady, we didn't mean any harm. Next time if we're passing through, we'll definitely stop by again to make it up to you.

We were there last Saturday had delicious pizza and fish and chips. Lizah was singing and she was so good. Fantastic entertainment while eating our meal. A real hidden gem of a restaurant. Nothing fancy, but very enjoyable. I hope more people catch on to how great this place is and how friendly the owner is. We will make it a regular go to place at the cottage. Next weekend we will try the wings.

Everything tasted very fresh. Their house salad is delicious and tastes straight from a garden. Definitely end with a butter tart!

This restaurant is under new management. New owners since July 2016 give it a try. Friendly people and good food, liquor licence and Saturday evening entertainment.

WOW EXPERIENCE!!!! We happened upon this restaurant by accident after swimming and not knowing what to do for dinner and we certainly did not regret our choice. Food was excellent. Service was exceptional. Prices outstanding especially for what you get. We will definitely be returning.....with our family and friends!!!!! Good job and keep it up.

Jam and cole slaw on only option of burger buns for French toast buns for hot Hamburg and a 15 dollar breakfast. No we wont be back long wait times on a half hour lunch and menu was odd to say the least . When I'm starving .I normally don't look at the menu for 10 minutes or more and settle on something I never order . Chicken fingers tasted overly processed and freezer burnt for sure. And poutine made with shreaded mozzarella. Not impressed. Not sure why all the 5 stars try and get out people . You will find better food elsewhere

We stopped at noon. The staff were ever do kind allowing us to order from both the breakfast and lunch menus. Every plate was superb. We cross tasted. My grand daughter's pizza had an amazing crust both texture and taste wise. The sauce made it the favorite.Really worth the stop. Wish it were a local venue instead of a vacation memory.

People who work there are very nice ! But the food is very cheaply proportioned very small amounts and the wings are the most foul tasting ever and extremely undercooked to the point the evan smell like a wet chicken .....

Service was fast and friendly. Our burgers were definitely home made, fresh and filling. Will be back for sure! Thank you.

Exceptional service and the bigger surprise was the freshness and quality of the food. Kids chicken fingers, grilled cheese and chicken/artichoke pizza was the order of the day, in clouding a few ice cold beers.

Great find. We were hunting for an affordable and casual place to grab a bite after we put in at the Young's Point lock. They were open, we were hungry. But we were impressed with the great food, the friendly and generous hospitality, the attention to detail, and the food value. Will be coming back some day for sure.
